Passwords & Codes-Safe App Reviews

31 Customer Reviews:

This would almost be quite a good password manager. It offers everything that I’m personally looking for - with one issue. When you purchase a piece of software NOT from the app store, many times you get a license FILE. You have to either open this file from the software or do some sort of drag and drop action in order to import this license, thus validating your software. I have a few apps that comes with such a license file. Would be nice to have a field called “Attachment” that I can add to a card, which would allow me to attach any type of file. Other than this, I find this a pretty decent password manager.

Hope it can close itself when unfocused and no windows left

I really don’t like anybody see this icon in my dock. Manually quit it is to trivial.

This is one of the best software programs I’ve ever owned. More effective and easier to use than Last Pass and others. You won’t be sorry you bought it.

SafeInCloud is simply my favorite. I have tried many others with all the fancy bells and whistles, but SafeInCloud just works. For the last year I have been looking for a new password manager and I’m glad to say the look is finally over. Love this app!

This is an excellent password manager for ALL platforms. I use it to sync passwords, ensure that passwords are robust, and to make my life that much simpler. Do yourself a favor and try this app on all your supported devices!

I have used three other solutions that stored my data on their server, my computer, and supposedly on my cloud drive. The most secure should have been the cloud drive option but I found it very unreliable in syncing. Obviously, when your data is stored on your device you rely on backups if the device is lost or stolen. Having my data stored on the vendor’s server is problematic in that vendors do get hacked. I was looking at updating my password manager and was looking at journalists’ recommendations. This one was not on the lists but I noticed some user comments saying, “Hey, what about SafeInCloud?” I’ve tried it on my iPhone, on my Macs and my Windows workstation. And, the only problem I’ve had was installing on the Windows workstation but got around that by installing through the alternative download options. Things I’d note: 1. The current version is very stable across all platforms I’ve tried, 2. I keep my data for the app on my Google Drive, which seems to be working very well, 3. The suggest password feature gives you suggestions that are from four categories: 1) memorable, 2) letters and numbers, 3) random, 4) numbers only. I like this much better than my three previous solutions, two of which continue to be favorites of tech writers.

Opened the application then was plagued by waiting for 20 minutes for the pinwheel to finish spinning loading the first page of the app. Never finished loading so I quit and tried again. Same thing happened. Don’t know if this is the app or what but its been incredibly frustrating.

I’ve tried them all. SafeInCloud is, by far, the best! It does exactly what it’s supposed to do… stores passwords. This app is not “ruined" with complicated features that I don’t need. It’s lightweight and has a simple and attractive UI. I like that Google Drive is a backup/sync option as well. Thank You for this!

I have been using this app the past few months, and it is fantastic. I upgraded from another, similar app, but it had no functionality compared to this!

Wasted big money to only find that safeincloud is the most friendly password manager for using on different operating systems. Extremely friendly and easy to use. Save your money and give this a try. You won’t be disappointed.

I found this software early on during my search for a solution to managing passwords and other private data. Although I have looked at tons of other software options SafeInCloud puts them all to shame. An easy interface, a cross platform arcitecture that works, and cloud syncing that is seamless and that works.
